The door opened as i pulled onto the drive, my housemate helped me in with my bags.”so how was your holiday?”

Eventful i grinned, put the kettle on and I’ll tell you all about it.

Ok so i arrived at my caravan around midday, after setting up my work station and making a drink I got to writing. After about an hour I leant back in my chair to stretch my back. That’s when i realised the window I was sat at was opposite a bedroom window, on the bed lay a young women lead facing away from me, barely dressed with long red hair, I found her very distracting. I decided to get up and make a cuppa, when i sat again she was gone from the window but not from my mind. I worked for a few more hours, watched Escape from New York, then went to bed. The next evening came around, I’d got more work done and was happy to have seen the redhead a few more times when there was a knock on my door. I stood up remembering to put some shorts on and opened the door. My caravan neighber stood there a awkward look on his face at first, he did look the part of a holiday maker in Bermuda shorts and a loud shirt. ‘Hi my name is Steve, I noticed you’re here alone” he paused for a moment then continued “ if I’m honest my wife Shelly noticed , but well we wondered if you’d like to join us for a BBQ this evening”.

To his great relief I agreed, he went away glad he could say to his wife I’d be over latter.

I got a bit more work done before popping to the site shop for a mixture of drinks. So six o’clock came around, i put on black combat shorts and a shirt, I was met by Steve with a firm hand shake he intruded me to his wife Sherly (a M.I.L.F with blonde hair) she took the drinks and put them in a cooler full of ice. This is our son Tom, tall but only thirteen pleasant lad sat in one of the chairs with a coke in the holder and his head in his phone. Next I was introduced to Shannon the redhead, now in a black Nightmare before Christmas hoodie and barley visible shorts, the 25 year old smiled and sat next to her brother. We were just chatting for a bit waiting on the coals to die down, and of course the conversation came round to me, why was I on my own . So I explained: How every so often I like to get away from the norm, to write my stories. Interest peaked in their faces, well not Tom's he was still glued to his phone, but here's the funny thing, Shannon sprung to life " I write too, how do you come up with your stories , and and what style are they??" I chuckled at how she suddenly came to life. Well I continued, my style is usually Thriller with a twist of some kind, and for how I write well a idea might pop in to my head and as I type or put pen to paper it just comes together..

So could you tell one now? Shelly asked yes if you'd like, give me a second.

After a sip of my tea I turned to face my housemate, Would you like to hear what I told them? He nodded, ok then.....

All sat with drinks still waiting for the BBQ coals to die down I started: Tim was a happy enough guy that loved his job, he was a floor manager at a factory that made screws, he'd been there for 25 years, but lately that is to say over the last two weeks things had been getting to him one problem after another, but of course good old Tim had sorted it all out. He was just clock watching now as he'd treated himself to a holiday, car was already packed, at 5 o'clock he'd be out the door like a bullet form a gun, straight Lake Ripple they had 4 cabins and was was about to be his for two weeks. The three hour drive was hard going what with road works and general weekend traffic, but it was all made worth it when he stepped from his car by the Lake and was hit by a gush of fresh air. Tim carried his bags in and dumped them in the bed room, he went into the kitchen, made a hot chocolate and slumped onto the large sofa and watched a film (a Sherlock Holmes if your interested). Now it was about 11pm so Tim thought he'd go to bed, the window was open making the room a little to cool for his needs, as he went to shut it he realised he could hear his neighbours, he grinned as he shut the window, Honeymooners he thought to himself and went to the king sized bed and fell asleep. It must of been 3 in the morning when something woke him, looking through his window he could see a light on in the next cabin, although he definitely didn't want to spoil their fun, he needed his sleep. He decided to go over and ask if they'd keep it down. As Tim got closer to the cabin he started to think something didn't feel right, he'd just noticed the front door was open when he heard a scream Tim froze. Now he new he should run back to his cabin and phone, well someone, but maybe it was the Sherlock in him, he moved up slowly to the cabin and peered in, it was gloomy so he went in, it was then that he noticed the broken chair and upturned kitchen table. " You finish playing with her, I'm going to the next cabin just the one guy in there!"

Tim realised two things, A the guy was talking about him and B he needed to hide and quick. Tim ducked behind the kitchen table just as someone came from the other room and headed outside, Tim focused his eyes and realised he'd landed on the dead naked and dead body of the male honeymooner, they were in a pool of blood, Tim nearly screamed and puke at the same time when the guy returned: " Hey Burt he ain't, I checked", "Maybe he went out, any way I'm busy, she's still warm!" " Na he ain't gone out, his car is still there and font door wern't locked". There was a groan and a muffled fud from the other room, Burt was now on this side of the door, " did you check the basement? you know number 3 has the extras down there." Oh come on then we'll check together, Tim peaked round the table and saw the men leave, both appeared to be carrying tools of some kind. Tim rose and tiptoed into the other room, slumped over the armchair backwards was the body of the female honeymooner throat slit blood soaking into the chair, her jaw was locked open and her dead eyes stared straight at Tim.... he needed help, he would run back to the main road. He ran from the room, tears filled his eyes as his body came to a sudden stop at the end of Burt's Axe... "found him!" Tim died when his head hit the kitchen table shortly followed by his body hitting the floor...

I sat back looking first at Shannon her eyes wide with interest, Tom was still on his phone, Shelly and Steve both seemed a little shocked, "the coals look ready" I said bringing reality back. Shannon grabbed my attention by "saying how she'd enjoyed the story" I smiled, not just because of the compliment but her hoodie was now half unzipped showing off her bikini breasts.

That night wasn't our first BBQ we all really hit it off, even went to the pub a few times, but all good things come to a end, they left 2 days ago, hugs and hand shakes exchanged.

"wow it sounds like a great holiday, and that Shannon sounds great"

Yeah it was fun, oh and Shannon will be here on Saturday

not all good things have to end!
