Timmy: but Hermit scares me!

Lowe: Hermit scares everybody, but he can help….. if you ask

Timmy: buuut

Lowe: no buts Timmy if you want to save your parents !

Timmy: ok you’re right, as always I’ll go!

Lowe: Now…

And off Timmy went to see Hermit, across two fields down the lane and across the stream.

“Gulp!”

Timmy stood starring at the woods before him, dark and forbidding. Of course Hermit would live in there, never in a nice cottage at the edge of the village or in a lush green forest, oh no! He lives in the cave in the dark woods from some poor child’s nightmare, full of glowing eyes and sharp teeth, where branches creek and something is always behind every bush or rock.

But Timmy took a deep breath, one step followed by another and another soon he was starring into the gaping mouth of a large cave that even light seemed to fear.

HHhello um Mr Hermit are you there?

A moment passed, hours in Timmy’s mind, warm air surrounded Timmy and her heard, no felt , a low deep whisper of a boom “ who’s there, what do you disturb me for?”

MMy name is Ttimmy and I seek your help …

Silence followed so Timmy continued.. well it’s my parents they’ve been taken, and well they say you’re the one that can save them…

“Who has them?”

The Walkers took them, in the night

A dark figure stepped from the cave, looming over Timmy ,in a stern Deep “ which way boy, what direction did they go?”

North towards the grey mountains. “Then we have time”

Hermit picked Timmy upas if he weighed nothing, grabbed a pack from the cave and was on the move, a moment later Timmy found himself at the edge of the village stood next to a open mouthed Lowe watching a tall dark figure heading north.

Lowe: found himself then!

Timmy: Yep!
