Who?

It was Tuesday, I woke at 8am and dragged myself out of bed, my body was stiff and painful. I stumbled for a moment, the stiffness passed but the pain it stayed a bit longer as it always did.

I made a coffee nothing fancy just instant from a jar, as the kettle boiled the nag in the back of my groggy mind sturred. Coffee made in a mug one of many from the middle upper cupboard, but this one was just right for me, a bit larger than most it held enough coffee to wake the dead, a necessity on mornings like this. Taking my drink back to my room I put NETFLIX on, as a distraction from being here alone more than entertainment, the nag grew.

Halfway through my coffee the nag punched me in the face ‘ I had to get out, at least for a few hours, get up go’

I finished my coffee threw on some clothes, grey combats a hooded t-shirt, put on a watch(i owned several) this one had a simple face large numbers and exposed skeletal workings finished off with a brown leather strap. Grabbing my tan jacket and sketcher slipon trainers(black) i locked up the house got into my car and drove the 3/4 hours to CROWSFORD a quaint village/town with it’s nice old buildings and some modern thrown in, it had it’s own market area with coffee shops sandwich bars a couple of Phone shops and several charity shops, I however headed straight for the local branch of Stormforks (pub/restaurant chain) called THE THREE CROWS, i would feel safe there, centred!

Stepping upto the front of the building i took a deep breath and entered, passing through the double doors the familiar hit me lick a hug from a old friend, smells from the kitchen and the hum rolling up and down from the few tables of people chatting. I weaved my way through the tables to one at the back that suited my needs, after sitting I set up my network and started writing..

A cute well groomed waitress brought me my drink and smiled in a friendly way before turning away back to the bar or bussing some other tables.

Some time later a waitress glanced my way and saw a lonely man sat at a laptop headphones on a sole empty glass at his side…

She saw me………
